Although there is no home page in Tapcast, a good starting place for most users is the audiences page for the ad account of interest.
The left-hand navigation bar can be toggled open and closed by clicking the icons indicated in the image above.
The members of your team (if any) are shown in the upper-right corner as circles with their initials in them. Pink circles indicate current team members. Gray circles are people who you can invite to join your team by clicking on the Invite icon indicated above.
Notifications for you can be accessed by clicking on the bell icon in the upper-right corner. The notifications could include messages, a helpful demo video, or tutorials on new features.
Add another Facebook ad account by clicking on the + sign in that section of the navigation bar.
You can launch Audience Builder to start building a new audience from the dashboard by clicking on the Build Audience button.
You can start to experiment with building audience Blocks in this section of the dashboard. It functions essentially the same way as building a Block in Audience Builder, with the exception that you cannot create an intersecting Block here. When you start building your Block, a butterfly chart appears, which provides the audience size and gives the demographic breakdown by gender and age group.
If you’d like to save the Block to your My Blocks list, click on the Save link. You can also opt to run Audience Map on your Block by clicking the Map Audience button.
At the top of the left-hand navigation bar is the Audience section. Clicking on the little arrow in this section will expand it to list all of the Facebook ad accounts you are associated with. You can select the one you wish to work with from this list. The currently selected account is identified on the top bar. You can also change the selection by clicking there and picking another account from the dropdown list.
The audiences imported from your Facebook ad account are organized under these three tabs:
- Lookalike Audiences
- Saved Audiences
- Tapcast Audiences: these are your audiences that you have used in ad sets in Facebook’s Ads Manager
Off to the right of each audience are buttons to Optimize and Map that audience.
