When you created and saved your audience on Tapcast, an ad set using that audience was created under your Facebook ad account. You can find it in your Facebook Ads Manager under the campaign titled **DO NOT ERASE -- TAPCAST AUD **. This campaign should never be deleted or activated. It has been created specifically to house audiences you’ve created on the Tapcast platform. If you want to run ads using this audience, you need to first save it into your Asset Library.
Locate that ad set in Ads Manager and open it for editing.
Scroll down to the Audience pane and make any adjustments to the audience that you may need to (e.g. exclusions or adding a radius around cities, etc.).
In particular, you should pay attention to the Location targeting. Any cities included in your targeting spec will target only the cities themselves. If you want to target a radius around the cities, you can edit the targeting here.
If you’d prefer, you can choose to make these adjustments after the audience is in the Asset Library.
Click the “Save This Audience” button at the bottom of the Audience pane.
In the dialog box that appears, give your audience a descriptive name and then click the “Save” button.
When you close the ad set, select either the “Close” or “Discard Draft” button. Do not click the “Publish” button.
If you opted to use the “Close” button when closing the ad sets, the Ads Manager held onto the changes you made in them as drafts. You can clear out those drafts by clicking on the “Discard Drafts” button in the upper-right corner of Ads Manager.
The audience now appears in your Asset Library and is available for use in an ad campaign.
Now that your audiences are in the Asset Library, you can create your Facebook ads.
If you have multiple audiences that you want to run against each other, Tapcast strongly recommends that you consider doing so in a split test to better determine the best performer.
You should also give consideration to the images or videos you want to use in your ads.
