Do you have customers in many different geographies? Do you suspect that customers in each geography may differ? Wonder no more! With Tapcast you can test and confirm your hypotheses.
Note: The process outlined below assumes that you have the required customer data, that is, email lists of buyers or leads, and that it can be segmented by geography. If your data doesn’t contain location information and can’t be segmented geographically, there is a workaround to get what you need.
1. Create Lookalike in Facebook
Create separate email lists, one for each geography you want to test.
Follow Facebook’s instructions to create the Custom audiences based on each email list.
Follow Facebook’s instructions to create the Lookalike audiences based on each Custom audience.
2. Create audience in Tapcast
Follow the process to create a new audience in Tapcast, one for each geography you want to test.
Add the Lookalike audience you just created to the targeting spec by selecting it from the dropdown list of Facebook audiences.
Apply your Location targeting (Cities, ZIP codes, or States).
Save and name your audience.
3. Analyze and identify Audience Blocks
Once you save your audience, run Audience Map for each audience so you can analyze them.
It is also beneficial to look at the Targeting Ideas for each audience.
Use these insights to identify Audience Blocks that you can use to target your advertising. Optimize the Lookalike audience by using these Blocks to narrow the targeting. Or if you want to reach broader audience, create a brand new audience based on these Audience Blocks.
4. Test your findings
Run ads with your new audiences and track their performance to confirm and/or refine your targeting ideas.
