Whether Tapcast is running your ads for you or you are running them yourself, you will need to develop ad copy in addition to images or videos. Below is some guidance about how Facebook organizes copy in its ads.
The main text above the ad image or video contains the bulk of your ad message. It’s advisable to also include wording that motivates your reader to action (e.g. “Don’t miss out!” or “Go to yourwebsite.com to sign up.”). Facebook allows a lot of text in ads, but it is best to be brief here. Facebook will truncate long text and only display the first several lines.
Facebook calls the bold text below the image a headline because in some placements it actually is in the head position. However, Tapcast recommends that you consider this your call-to-action statement and word it accordingly.
If you are providing your ad copy to Tapcast, please identify which part is the main text and which is the headline.
